Support for the North Friesland Youth Sports Foundation

The funding provided by the Youth Sports Foundation Nordfriesland aims at the sustainable strengthening of children’s and youth sports in Schleswig-Holstein. Eligible to apply are sports clubs and district specialist associations organized within the Nordfriesland District Sports Association as well as the Schleswig-Holstein State Sports Association or the German Olympic Sports Confederation. Supported are licensing courses for A, B, and C trainers, training and continuing education measures for instructors, talent training, as well as referee and umpire training. The foundation covers up to 40% of eligible expenses, but no more than €1,500 per measure. Eligible costs include teaching materials, room and equipment rentals, as well as fees, travel, accommodation, and catering costs for instructors.

A prerequisite for funding is the collection of a participant fee and the involvement of A- or B-license trainers or correspondingly qualified instructors according to the DOSB framework guidelines. Calls for applications must be open to all Nordfriesland sports clubs and organized in cooperation with the District Sports Association or the district specialist associations. Applications can be submitted continuously, whereby the funding guidelines, the application form, and the accounting form must be submitted fully completed. The final accounting requires copies of all receipts and appropriate photo documentation of the measure. This transparent procedure promotes broad participation and sustainably ensures the quality of the training steps.
