Description

This initiative supports supraregional and nationwide significant projects in child and youth welfare with financial grants. Providers of youth welfare – including associations, professional organizations, and independent clubs – can receive support within the framework of the Federal Child and Youth Plan (KJP) to secure, strengthen, and further develop the federal central infrastructure. The Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Seniors, Women, and Youth grants funding depending on the type and scope of the planned measure. The goal is the sustainable improvement of services and offerings for young people and families throughout the entire federal territory.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations with youth welfare sponsorship that meet professional requirements and promote the objectives of the Basic Law. Appropriate and economical use of the funds is another prerequisite. Application documents include the forms according to the funding guidelines as well as the official application form, which must be submitted by November 30 of each year via direct procedure. The amount of the grant is determined by the specific needs of the measure. This funding particularly targets organizations that wish to implement innovative nationwide model projects, international professional and youth exchanges, or measures for the individual support of young immigrants. Further details are provided in the funding guidelines, which offer a transparent basis for successful child and youth welfare projects.
