Description
The church foundation "miteinander füreinander" supports non-profit organizations and public institutions in Lower Saxony in the realization of church projects in the former parishes of the Alfeld church district as well as in other affiliated locations. Eligible for funding are initiatives in the areas of child and youth work, diaconal services, education & culture, monument preservation, as well as in labor and social sectors, vocational training, and infrastructure and urban development. Funding is provided in the form of grants, which can be applied for at any time. A prerequisite for funding is a church congregation within the funding area, a completed project application, proof of income and expenses, as well as adherence to the funding guidelines and the statutes.
Projects are evaluated based on their long-term impact, alignment with the foundation’s purpose, and their significance for the specified thematic areas. In particular, full-time and volunteer staff as well as all participants involved in church initiatives benefit from the support. The foundation’s goal is to permanently preserve Christian values and enable forward-looking engagement locally.
