Description

The KJSH Foundation for Child, Youth, and Social Assistance is committed to supporting disadvantaged young people, families, and individuals with disabilities in northern and eastern Germany. In Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Schleswig-Holstein, funding is available in the form of grants that enable both short-term material aid and the initiation of new projects and fields of work. Private individuals, non-profit organizations, interest groups, and associations can submit applications at any time. Support is tailored precisely to the needs of the individuals and follows the principle of helping people to help themselves, aiming to achieve sustainable improvements in their living conditions.

The primary objective is the financial and ideal support of disadvantaged children, adolescents, people with disabilities, and socially disadvantaged adults. By awarding grants, exclusive service gaps are closed, existing projects are effectively networked, and new fields of work are developed. Participants benefit from a straightforward, ongoing application process without fixed deadlines. In doing so, the foundation contributes to greater equal opportunities, social cohesion, and the promotion of democracy. Interested parties can obtain comprehensive information directly via the KJSH Foundation’s website to discover potentials for sustainable, regional impact and jointly advance innovative solutions to the challenges faced by disadvantaged target groups.
