Description

The Klaus Ringwald Foundation provides funding contributions for the preservation, research, and dissemination of the sculptural oeuvre of Prof. Klaus Ringwald. Non-profit institutions, museums, exhibition organizers, as well as art historians and scholars in Baden-Württemberg are eligible to apply. Supported are exhibitions (including temporary presentations), specialized publications, and scholarly investigations into the artist’s work and life, with the aim of sustainably documenting his artistic legacy and making it accessible to the public.

Funds are available as grants for exhibition costs, publication, and research expenses. Projects are evaluated based on their thematic relevance to Prof. Ringwald’s oeuvre, their scholarly contribution, and the sustainability of the planned measure. Applications must include a precise project description, a detailed financing plan, and a curriculum vitae. Awards are granted on an ongoing basis; applications may be submitted at any time. Through this, the Foundation aims to promote art-historical engagement, support long-term exhibition concepts, and strengthen the cultural-historical value of Prof. Ringwald’s sculpture. This approach not only secures the local museum landscape in the Black Forest but also makes an important contribution to nationwide art and cultural education.
