Funding by the Leichlingen Foundation of the Kreissparkasse Köln

The Leichlingen Foundation of the Kreissparkasse Köln is committed to sustainably promoting the common good in the city of Leichlingen. Through its grant program, the foundation supports non-profit organizations that implement projects in the areas of culture, monument preservation, sports, social affairs, and the environment. The focus is on improving quality of life and strengthening local cohesion. By specifically funding initiative projects in the fields of art, heritage conservation, youth and elderly care, as well as other socially relevant areas, innovative impulses are to be set and existing potentials utilized.

Eligible for funding are exclusively non-profit institutions headquartered within the city of Leichlingen. The funds are awarded in the form of grants and are intended to support projects that provide sustainable added value for the community. Particular emphasis is placed on initiatives aimed at preserving culture and monument protection, promoting sporting activities, or advancing social and environmental measures. The funding process is based on an online application form, whereby the submitted documents must comply with the application guidelines. Projects to be implemented in the second half of the year must be submitted by January 15 at the latest. Ongoing funding opportunities exist to also accommodate longer-term commitments.

The foundation places special importance on supporting diverse projects that strengthen the cultural identity of the city while simultaneously creating space for social interaction and environmentally friendly initiatives. By providing grants, it aims to contribute to the realization of innovative ideas by committed actors, thereby fostering a vibrant cultural, sporting, and social offering.
