Description

The funding provided by the LEO Foundation Live 4 Each Other supports non-profit initiatives, public institutions, and private individuals nationwide who are committed to disadvantaged families, children, adolescents, and young adults both domestically and abroad. With an endowment of approximately 3 million euros, the foundation has been able to realize numerous individual projects in social and societal fields such as health, education, migration, and the promotion of democracy since its inception. As a grantor within the meaning of § 53 of the German Fiscal Code, the LEO Foundation places special emphasis on charitable purposes that sustainably contribute to strengthening social cohesion. Eligible applicants can submit donation or project proposals at any time and benefit from a straightforward and continuous funding practice.

The focus of the funding activities is on measures that facilitate access to education, psychosocial support, and healthcare. Whether reading mentorships to strengthen media literacy, holiday and encounter programs for disadvantaged children, or therapeutic interventions for traumatized youth—the LEO Foundation provides targeted financial assistance for specific local needs. By involving various actors from the social and volunteer sectors, sustainable impact is achieved, covering a spectrum from vocational training to immediate life assistance. Projects, campaigns, or direct aid measures find an open point of contact at all stages of the application process and contribute to permanently improving the living conditions of young people.
