Funding of the Michaelis Foundation Fallersleben

The Michaelis Foundation Fallersleben supports non-profit projects in Lower Saxony with a special focus on diaconal and social initiatives, church music concepts, as well as cultural undertakings. From its permanently endowed revenues, the foundation provides grants for project costs, personnel expenses, and measures for the preservation and maintenance of buildings. Applications are continuously reviewed by the foundation’s board, allowing project sponsors within the Evangelical Lutheran Michaelis Parish Fallersleben/Sandkamp to submit their ideas at any time. Funding is exclusively directed at legal entities under public or private law that pursue non-profit or ecclesiastical purposes and whose projects align with the foundation’s statutory objectives.

The funding goal is the sustainable strengthening of diaconal/social work, the diversity of church music offerings, and cultural engagement, as well as the long-term preservation of personnel resources and historic buildings. A prerequisite for funding is a project orientation with a diaconal, church music, or cultural focus, as well as the non-profit status of the applicant. Eligible costs include, among others, material expenses for building maintenance, personnel costs, and project-related expenditures. Through continuous funding opportunities, the foundation supports non-profit organizations and foundations in realizing creative, socially relevant offerings and securing church infrastructure in the long term.
