Description
The St. Johannis Music Foundation in Hanover continuously supports church and non-profit organizations in Lower Saxony in the realization of ambitious music projects at the Neustädter Hof- and City Church St. Johannis. The focus of the funding is on major works of sacred and secular music, particularly the concert activities of the St. Johannis Choir as well as the Senior Choir of St. Johannis. Eligible expenses include fees for choir conductors, rehearsal pianists, and vocal coaches, costs for concert events, procurement and maintenance of instruments, as well as measures for rehearsal activities and further training of ensembles. The foundation aims to strengthen art and culture ideologically and materially in accordance with § 52 para. 2 of the German Fiscal Code and to secure church music life in the long term.
