Funding by the Nospa Nord-Ostsee Foundation

The Nospa Nord-Ostsee Foundation is one of the largest supporters in North Schleswig-Holstein, committed to regional projects in the fields of sports, education, social affairs, culture, environmental and nature conservation, as well as social cohesion. With an endowment of nearly 7.8 million euros and six independent funds, the umbrella foundation of the Nord-Ostsee Sparkasse promotes initiatives and institutions through sponsorships and donations. The program aims to create sustainable impulses for the common good, strengthen local roots, and support democracy and civic engagement on site. Submissions can be made throughout the year, allowing both spontaneous ideas and long-term projects to be considered.

Funding is provided to non-profit organizations, public and educational institutions, interest groups, and other associations with headquarters or activities within the Nord-Ostsee Sparkasse’s service area. A prerequisite is the implementation of a project in the defined thematic areas. Regional anchoring, earmarked use of funds, and alignment with the foundation’s objectives play a decisive role in the selection process. Applications may be submitted continuously and are flexibly tailored to the respective project. The funding program is particularly recommended for initiatives seeking sustainable impact and aiming to actively involve citizens of all ages. Interested project sponsors are offered a structured opportunity through this program to realize their ideas in Schleswig-Holstein and effectively strengthen local community cohesion.
