Funding of the NRV Foundation (Sailing: Youth, Competitive Sports, Inclusion)

The non-profit NRV Foundation, based in Hamburg, supports interested clubs and organizations in innovative sailing projects aligned with the funding priorities of sports, children and youth, infrastructure, culture & media, work & social affairs, as well as urban development. The goal is to provide young sailing enthusiasts with comprehensive sailing training, to strengthen the Olympic team of the North German Regatta Club in the long term, and to reduce barriers for people with disabilities. Eligible expenses include equipment and sports gear, training camp costs, as well as the adaptation of boats and facilities for inclusive offerings. Projects must have a close connection to the North German Regatta Club and clearly focus on youth development, competitive sports, or inclusion. As a grant program, the NRV Foundation offers a reliable and sustainable source of funding for the implementation of sailing initiatives in Hamburg.

Applications can be submitted continuously and require a detailed project description as well as a comprehensive budget plan. Selection is based on defined evaluation criteria: youth focus, relevance to competitive sports, and inclusion aspect.
