Funding of the Otto Wolff Foundation

The Otto Wolff Foundation supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and foundations nationwide that are engaged in the fields of research & innovation, education, initial & continuing training, international understanding, culture & media, animal welfare, as well as energy efficiency & climate protection. In line with its foundation purpose, it funds projects related to scientific research, school and vocational education, the maintenance of cultural activities, and animal protection. Both German cultural and artistic works as well as initiatives promoting social cohesion and democracy are taken into account. The Otto Wolff Foundation operates continuously and without fixed deadlines – applications can be submitted at any time to receive timely financial grants for innovative projects.

Eligible for funding are especially scientific institutes, schools, universities, museums, theaters, and non-profit associations or organizations that wish to implement concrete project proposals in the aforementioned thematic areas. To apply, the completed funding application form (PDF) must be submitted, which is available for download on the Otto Wolff Foundation’s website. Evaluation is conducted by internal experts who assess projects based on their social relevance, innovative strength, and sustainability. Through this funding initiative, the foundation makes a valuable contribution to strengthening research, education, international understanding, and culture in Germany, thereby promoting forward-looking impulses in science and society.
