Description

The Paula Kubitscheck-Vogel Foundation continuously supports non-profit organizations, public institutions, and foundations in Bavaria dedicated to hospice and palliative care. The focus is on projects aimed at improving outpatient and inpatient hospice services, day hospices, as well as measures in nursing homes and home care. Funding is provided for training and further education in palliative care, quality assurance measures, and public relations, as well as innovative initiatives and accompanying studies. The maximum project duration is 24 months; grants can be applied for personnel and material costs, training expenses, quality assurance, and communication measures. Application documents include the current tax exemption certificate, a completed application form, a detailed project description, a financing plan, and bank details. There is no legal entitlement to funding; the board decides on applications several times a year.

The foundation’s goal is to sustainably strengthen the care of seriously ill and dying people in Bavaria. Particularly supported are projects that demonstrate a clear benefit for hospice and palliative structures, impress with innovative approaches, and present a coherent concept for quality assurance and further education. The Paula Kubitscheck-Vogel Foundation places great importance on the fact that the requested funds are used exclusively for the described measures; unused amounts must be returned after the project’s completion. A proof of use must be submitted upon conclusion of the project. Through this funding strategy, the foundation supports initiatives that enable a dignified farewell and advance palliative medicine and hospice work.
