Description

Funding by the Peter Rosin Foundation supports non-profit organizations and educational institutions nationwide in the fields of animal welfare, environmental/nature conservation, science, research, and energy efficiency/climate protection. The foundation continuously awards project-related grants to promote sustainable animal health as well as innovative conservation and educational projects. Eligible for funding are particularly collaborations between natural and specialized sciences as well as practice-oriented studies in complementary veterinary medicine, which make an important contribution to environmental and species conservation through mood and environmental analyses. The Peter Rosin Foundation places special emphasis on scientific quality: applicants must demonstrate, in addition to a non-profit objective, the relevance to animal, environmental, or nature conservation. Funds may be used for studies, public relations work, training events, or the development of new evidence-based approaches to animal health.

Interested research institutions and educational initiatives may apply at any time. A detailed project description with defined objectives and a financial plan is required. In recent years, the foundation has subsidized, among other things, long-term studies on the efficacy of homeopathic methods in veterinary medicine, basic projects on alternative fuels for livestock, as well as environmental education programs in schools. The Peter Rosin Foundation sees itself as an independent funding institution, financed exclusively from its own resources and donations. It supports projects that create sustainable solutions for animal welfare and nature conservation while advancing scientific discourse. Well-founded applications can be submitted at any time by post or email; approval is decided by a board of trustees composed of experts from various disciplines.
