Description
Since 2008, the Rave Foundation, based in Rhede, has continuously supported non-profit projects and initiatives in North Rhine-Westphalia. It assists organizations, associations, foundations, and educational institutions in the Rhede region across diverse fields: from education and child and youth welfare to elderly care, art, culture, and monument preservation, as well as environmental and nature conservation, local heritage, sports, public health care, and vocational training. The aim of the funding is to create sustainable impulses for the community and to strengthen cooperation among local stakeholders. Donations and grants are awarded specifically to projects that pursue a clear non-profit purpose and directly contribute to the development of the region.
Applications can be submitted at any time. Eligible for funding are non-profit institutions with headquarters or project locations in Rhede that can demonstrably hold status according to the German Fiscal Code. Applications are submitted informally, including a project description, financial plan, and proof of non-profit status. The allocation decisions are made by the Foundation’s board, which consists of representatives of the Rave family as well as independent experts. Through the ongoing call for proposals, flexible project funding is ensured, aligned with the current needs of education, culture, environment, and social work, thereby strengthening social cohesion in the region in the long term.
