Funding of the Reinhard Frank Foundation

The Reinhard Frank Foundation awards nationwide, unlimited grants to promote charitable purposes in the fields of education and upbringing, science and research, youth welfare, as well as charitable tasks. As a legally recognized foundation under civil law based in Hamburg, it supports tax-privileged public law corporations and non-profit institutions both domestically and abroad. Funding is granted exclusively to organizations that can prove their tax-privileged status in accordance with §§ 51 et seq. of the German Fiscal Code (AO). There is no legal entitlement to funding; however, applications may be submitted at any time.

Recipients benefit from the flexibility of a continuous application process and a broad range of possible uses—from innovative research projects and training initiatives to social youth welfare. The foundation’s goal is to create sustainable educational and developmental opportunities and to strengthen charitable measures. Potential applicants are encouraged to carefully review the foundation’s guidelines and to clearly formulate funding projects in line with the foundation’s objectives.
