Funding of the Rolf Scheuermann Foundation

The Rolf Scheuermann Foundation supports committed, non-profit organizations with its funding program in the implementation of social, cultural, sporting, and educational projects in the Enz district. The offer is aimed at participants from Wiernsheim, Mühlacker-Lomersheim, as well as the eastern Enz district who wish to realize innovative project initiatives. The foundation places a special focus on initiatives that promote social cohesion, enrich intercultural exchange, or enable sporting activities for people of all ages. Within the funding areas of children and youth, social affairs, sports, science, work & social issues, culture & media, as well as research & innovation, multifaceted projects are supported that contribute to the sustainable development of the region.

Funding is provided in the form of a grant that exclusively benefits project initiatives. Non-profit organizations have the opportunity to apply for financial resources within the framework of an ongoing funding program to realize their own ideas. Through targeted support of projects that have a direct positive impact on the quality of life in the region, long-term structures are intended to be created that strengthen social and cultural coexistence. The foundation, which has been closely connected to the legacy of the founder Rolf Scheuermann since its recognition as a legal foundation in 2009, also uses proceeds from its entrepreneurial past to sustainably promote the common good.

The selection of projects and applicants is based on established criteria that ensure the funded initiatives have a direct connection to the region and provide the drivers of innovative approaches in areas such as education, culture, sports, and social affairs with the necessary financial boost. The application is submitted via a foundation application form, which contains a detailed description of the respective project. Through the continuous allocation of funding, the foundation offers long-term oriented support that enables organizations to successfully implement their creative and sustainable ideas as well as to set new impulses in the region.
