Description

Funding Initiative of the Share Value Foundation
The Share Value Foundation supports non-profit organizations and public institutions in Hesse and Thuringia that operate in the fields of youth and elderly care as well as public health and welfare services. Only institutions with a church-based, Christian mission of assistance and membership in a leading association of independent welfare organizations (e.g., Diaconal Work or German Red Cross) are eligible for funding. With annual funding rounds in spring (01.01.–31.03.) and autumn (01.07.–30.09.), the foundation, as a pure grant-making foundation, provides targeted subsidies to sustainably realize tax-privileged purposes. Funding is provided for start-up aid for new projects, temporary personnel cost models, and material resources for project work to enable needs-based services for young people, seniors, and persons in need of assistance.

Funding Requirements and Application Procedure
Applicants must have a current exemption notice as well as a valid association or commercial register excerpt and provide proof of association membership. Relevant documents—including project description, cost and financing plan, quotations, and declarations from the online form—must be submitted electronically as PDFs. Submission is exclusively via the external online application management system; a checklist and detailed guidelines are available for download. Decisions on funding commitments will be announced by June 1 following the end of the application period. Timely and complete submission of applications ensures review by the foundation board and enables prompt access to funds.
