Support for the Sports Foundation of the Kreissparkasse Steinfurt

Since 1991, the Sports Foundation of the Kreissparkasse Steinfurt has been supporting the development of regional sports in the Steinfurt district with targeted grants. The focus is both on promoting talented young athletes and strengthening grassroots sports to sustainably improve the quality of life locally. Financial support enables innovative sports projects, competitive events, and training for coaches and supervisors. Volunteers benefit from the foundation just as much as sports clubs, which can optimize their range of offerings and strengthen club life through structural support measures.

Eligible for funding are registered and recognized non-profit sports clubs based in Steinfurt, Horstmar, Altenberge, Laer, Metelen, Neuenkirchen, Nordwalde, or Wettringen. Talented young athletes and volunteers in the sports sector can also apply for funding through clubs. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis by completing the official application form. A close connection to the regional environment as well as recognition as a non-profit organization are central prerequisites for funding.
