Funding of the St. Alexandri Foundation (Project funding in accordance with the foundation's purpose)

The St. Alexandri Foundation continuously supports charitable projects in Einbeck and the surrounding area that focus on church-related fields. Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, or associations based or active in Lower Saxony. In particular, initiatives in the areas of church music, community work, children and youth work, as well as projects promoting Christian values, are supported. The aim is to strengthen the local cultural and social life, promote educational offerings, and deepen social cohesion through Christian-oriented initiatives. Both one-time events and long-term commitments that clearly relate to the foundation’s purpose and have a sustainable impact may be submitted.

For the application, a detailed project description including a cost and financing plan must be submitted. Selection is based on the criteria of “relevance to the foundation’s purpose,” “sustainability and impact,” and “suitability for the target groups.” A special focus is placed on projects that accompany people in various life situations through communal offerings or implement creative formats such as art and music workshops. Project proposals can be sent to the foundation by email at any time, as there is no fixed deadline. Interested initiatives thus have the opportunity to present their ideas flexibly and apply for financial support in the form of a grant. In doing so, the St. Alexandri Foundation makes a sustainable contribution to cultural diversity and social cohesion in the region.
