Description

The funding from the St. Antonius Foundation is aimed at public institutions and non-profit organizations based or active in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising, which are engaged in the field of church welfare or charitable works. The foundation's goal is the sustainable strengthening of social services for persons with physical, mental, or emotional impairments. To this end, operating costs are covered and provision of buildings is enabled. The funds are continuously available, so applications can be submitted at any time. A prerequisite for a successful application, in addition to non-profit sponsorship, is the submission of the completed project profile form, which is usually used together with Department 6.2.1 of the Archdiocese.

The funding supports projects that enable people with support needs to lead a meaningful life in community. Institutions can receive both structural resources and operating funds to expand and secure housing and care services, workshops, or therapeutic measures in the long term. The focus is on supporting diaconal services that ensure comprehensive care and accompaniment. The grants provided make an important contribution to improving living conditions and participation in social life in Bavaria.
