Support for the Starck Foundation – For the Well-being of Humans, Animals, and Nature

The Starck Foundation – For the Well-being of People, Animals, and Nature supports nationwide intergenerational, inclusive, and needs-based projects that harness the positive effects of Green Care in harmony with nature. Funding is provided to initiatives by non-profit organizations, companies, public institutions, and private individuals that enable participation and community for disadvantaged or impaired people of all ages – especially children, adolescents, and seniors – in nature-oriented environments. The focus is on species-appropriate animal husbandry, animal welfare, as well as measures for environmental and climate protection. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing spontaneous project ideas and sustainable initiatives to be supported flexibly.

The foundation is committed to strengthening the cohesion between people, animals, and nature and promotes projects in the thematic areas of children and youth, environmental/nature conservation, climate protection, work & social affairs, as well as civic engagement and democracy. The goal is to create living spaces where respect, solidarity, and intergenerational encounters are practiced. Special attention is given to supporting institutions in animal and environmental protection as well as promoting measures for energy efficiency. Through individually tailored sponsorship, the Starck Foundation complements government funding programs and helps to sustainably establish innovative model projects. Interested project sponsors have the opportunity to collaborate with the foundation to contribute to the preservation of biodiversity, the strengthening of social participation, and the improvement of quality of life in rural and urban areas.
