Description
The Swiss Life Foundation for Equal Opportunities supports nonprofit organizations nationwide that create equal opportunities for children and youth through innovative and sustainable educational and social projects. In particular, projects focusing on early childhood education, digital skills, integration, or democracy education are supported, involving participants from disadvantaged backgrounds on an equal footing. The foundation covers 100% of personnel and material costs and ensures transparent financial planning as well as short project durations. A prerequisite is the existence of a child and youth protection concept to guarantee safe conditions for all involved.
Eligible for funding are registered associations (e. V.), nonprofit limited liability companies (gGmbH), and nonprofit entrepreneurial companies (gUG) based in Germany, active in the fields of education, children and youth, as well as work & social affairs. Applications can be submitted at any time, as the foundation practices continuous allocation. The decisive criteria for selection are the degree of innovation, sustainability and scalability of the projects, as well as their relevance to equal opportunities. A well-founded project plan and a concept for success monitoring strengthen the application and enable efficient funding decisions.
