Description
The CITOYEN Foundation is committed to fostering civic spirit in the Rhine-Main region and supports innovative, non-profit projects in the fields of education, art, environment, social cohesion, as well as youth and elderly care. Through its grant program, the foundation promotes initiatives that strengthen the common good and thus provide impetus to enhance social engagement. The funding is exclusively directed at non-profit organizations, associations, and initiatives that demonstrably contribute to the community. Particular emphasis is placed on collaboration with project sponsors to effectively implement a broad spectrum of ideas and concepts.
The funding encompasses various areas such as education, culture, environmental/nature conservation, vocational training and further education, work & social affairs, as well as energy efficiency and climate protection. Projects realized in the Rhine-Main region may benefit from the funding, provided they meet the criteria of non-profit status and contribute to a sustainably positive impact. Application documents include, in addition to the completed grant application form, proof of non-profit status, a detailed cost and financing plan, as well as consent to data protection. The foundation places special importance on transparent project descriptions and the presentation of the initiators’ own contributions in the spirit of self-help.
The funding initiative is aimed at all organizations that actively wish to contribute to strengthening social cohesion. Regular application deadlines (January 31, March 31, May 31, August 31, and October 31) enable continuous submission of applications, allowing ideas and projects to be continuously expanded and supported. With this targeted funding, the CITOYEN Foundation sends a clear signal for societal discourse and encourages participation in innovative solutions to current challenges. The initiative promises not only financial support but also a stimulus for networking and exchange among experts and committed actors in the Hesse region, thereby creating long-term positive impulses for the common good.
