Funding by the Foundation of VR-Bank Bonn Rhein-Sieg

The VR-Bank Bonn Rhein-Sieg Foundation grants financial subsidies to non-profit organizations, associations, interest groups, and educational institutions in North Rhine-Westphalia for projects that serve the common good in the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg region. The focus areas include regional development, education, culture, social affairs, agriculture & rural development, as well as vocational training and further education. Funding is provided twice a year with submission deadlines on March 31 and September 30, supporting initiatives that create sustainable impulses for social cohesion, cultural participation, or educational offerings. A prerequisite for funding is proof of non-profit status and verification that the project location is within the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg funding area.

The application must be submitted using the fillable PDF form available for download on the Foundation’s website. A carefully completed funding request enables the Foundation Board to make an informed decision during the annual meetings. The support aims to strengthen forward-looking initiatives and promote regional networks. The transparent funding criteria and clear deadlines facilitate planning for interested project sponsors.
