Support for the Foundation of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in the District of the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce

The Foundation of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in the district of the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce continuously supports charitable projects in Lower Saxony that generate sustainable added value for education, child and youth welfare, environmental and nature conservation, as well as research & innovation. Eligible to apply are educational institutions, public bodies, and all non-profit organizations based in the IHK district of Braunschweig. The focus is on initiatives that benefit people in need while simultaneously promoting international understanding, cultural exchange, or innovative approaches in the fields of energy efficiency and climate protection. Applications can be submitted at any time, with alignment to the foundation’s purpose, a clear regional connection, and proof of non-profit status being decisive evaluation criteria. Funding is provided in the form of grants that contribute to the successful implementation of projects without limiting the recipients’ own responsibility.

For a complete application, a filled-out funding application, a meaningful project description, a detailed financing plan, as well as the statutes or proof of non-profit status must be submitted. Selection is based on conformity with the foundation’s objectives—from early childhood education to support for initiatives in culture & media. By providing funding, the foundation supports innovative, charitable projects that are both locally rooted and generate supra-regional impulses.
