Description

The DIALOGUES and ENCOUNTERS Foundation supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public bodies nationwide that are committed to intercultural dialogue, tolerance, as well as peace and international understanding. Through its continuous grant program, the foundation funds initiatives and research projects that combat racism, discrimination, and social exclusion. The goal is to strengthen social cohesion and promote peaceful coexistence among different cultures and population groups through practical measures. Project proposals of all sizes are welcome, provided they are clearly defined and align with the foundation’s statutory purposes.

Funding prerequisites include proof of non-profit status and a clearly delineated project concept. Interested applicants must also demonstrate that the project contributes to the foundation’s statutory objectives. The following documents are required for the application: proof of non-profit status, statutes, cost and financing plan, as well as a substantive and financial report as a final accountability statement. Applications can be submitted at any time via the online form, by email, or by post. After review by the board, applicants will receive a timely decision. Approvals may be subject to conditions, and the foundation reserves the right to reclaim funds in whole or in part if requirements are not met. Finally, funded projects are documented and accompanied as part of public relations efforts to create sustainable impulses for a democratic and inclusive coexistence.
