Funding of the DPSG Foundation Diocesan Association Trier

The DPSG Diocesan Association Trier Foundation is committed to the sustainable promotion of scouting learning and living in Rhineland-Palatinate. As a non-profit interest association, it particularly supports programs for children and youth as well as their training and further education. Funding is provided exclusively to scout groups and volunteer leaders within the DPSG Diocesan Association Trier who engage with topics such as commitment to social cohesion and democracy, climate protection, energy efficiency, labor and social issues, as well as training and further education. The financial grant is provided as an earmarked subsidy and contributes to building long-term effective structures in child and youth work.

Applications can be submitted at any time in accordance with the published funding guidelines. A prerequisite for funding is membership in the DPSG Diocesan Association Trier as well as an application that documents compliance with the funding criteria. The evaluation focuses primarily on the quality of volunteer leader training, the long-term impact on child and youth work, and alignment with the foundation’s objectives. Through this continuous funding source, projects are strengthened that place justice, peace, and the preservation of creation at the center and advocate for the disadvantaged. In this way, the foundation makes a sustainable contribution to the further development of scouting work in the Diocese of Trier.
