Funding of the Foundation One World – One Future

The Eine Welt – eine Zukunft Foundation supports non-profit organizations, foundations, and public institutions based in Germany nationwide in implementing projects for environmental and nature conservation as well as sustainable development. Funded initiatives include those in the areas of environmental education, resource conservation, development policy education, intercultural learning, and fair trade. Both planning and concept development as well as implementation, evaluation, public relations, and documentation qualify as eligible expenses. Project applications can be submitted at any time, provided they do not pursue religious or partisan objectives and comply with the principles of sustainable development as well as the foundation's guidelines.

The selection is based on transparently formulated evaluation criteria such as sustainability approach, topical relevance, and a detailed description of success monitoring. The goal is to realize long-term impactful initiatives that link ecological responsibility with development policy commitment. The diverse funding areas include, in addition to environmental and nature conservation, consulting and corporate financing in the context of climate-friendly measures, vocational training and education, as well as agriculture and rural development.
