Funding by the Renewable Freedom Foundation

The funding initiative of the Renewable Freedom Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations, private individuals, interest groups, and other associations throughout Germany that are engaged in civil society. With a needs-oriented approach, it not only provides financial support in the form of grants but also offers comprehensive assistance in legal and organizational matters. Furthermore, technological expertise and access to a diverse network are among the core services. The funding covers thematic areas such as social cohesion and democracy, digitalization, work & social affairs, as well as corporate financing and consulting – and adapts flexibly to the respective project phases to optimally support sustainable developments.

Thanks to an open-ended submission possibility, initiatives and volunteer organizations can submit applications at any time and benefit from the foundation’s expertise. The funding philosophy places great emphasis on a partnership-based collaboration founded on openness and trust. Bureaucratic hurdles are consistently minimized so that the supported groups can focus on their core topics. Exploratory endeavors and early-stage projects receive support just as established initiatives whose long-term objectives are still in development. Through this needs-oriented approach, the Renewable Freedom Foundation strengthens the self-determination of participants and promotes a vibrant, free coexistence – always with the goal of shaping the future collectively and innovatively.
