Funding of the Evangelical Emmaus Community Eppstein Foundation

Since 2005, the Evangelical Emmaus Community Eppstein Foundation has been supporting the diverse parish work in Hesse with continuous grants. It compensates for structural budget deficits and secures projects in the social, cultural, and democratic fields in the long term. Supported activities include toddler groups, youth camps, intergenerational initiatives, as well as assistance for people in need and the church music of the parish. The foundation's capital stock remains untouched, so only the income from the capital investment is used for ongoing funding – a sustainable model that simultaneously strengthens social cohesion and cultural diversity.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations or public institutions that are members or subprojects of the Evangelical Emmaus Community Eppstein and whose offerings correspond to the foundation's purpose. Applications can be submitted at any time, with material costs, event costs, and personnel costs considered eligible expenses. The evaluation is based on alignment with the foundation's purpose, sustainability and lasting impact, as well as the concrete contribution to parish life. Parishes, groups, and initiatives that demonstrate cross-generational commitment or enable participation regardless of gender find a reliable partner here.
