About the funder

The Evangelical Emmaus Congregation Eppstein Foundation was established in July 2005. Its goal is to provide long-term financial support for parish work and to sustainably counteract the decline in church revenues. The foundation promotes, among other things, the establishment of new toddler groups, subsidizes youth events and recreational activities, supports the intergenerational group "Building Bridges," the church music of the Emmaus congregation, and provides unbureaucratic assistance to people in need. Additionally, it compensates for structural budget deficits of the parish. Since its founding, the Emmaus Foundation has raised around one million euros in capital, which is invested, with only the returns used for funding projects.
