Funding of the Foundation Factory for Culture and Neighborhood, Düren

The Fabrik für Kultur und Stadtteil Foundation, Düren, is committed as a non-profit, independent foundation under civil law in North Rhine-Westphalia to the preservation of listed buildings and the promotion of artistic and cultural projects. In the listed setting of the former industrial complex "Becker & Funck," creative initiatives, cultural events, as well as measures in building and monument preservation are supported. Through professionally substantiated grants, the foundation contributes to preserving historical substance while simultaneously creating vibrant meeting places for civil society. Stakeholders from the fields of monument preservation, art, and culture benefit from the expertise and network resources of the foundation board and the cooperation with municipal partners and socio-cultural institutions in the Düren region.

Project sponsors – whether non-profit organizations, private individuals, or public institutions – can submit grant applications throughout the year by contacting the managing board directly. Funded are projects that strengthen urban identity and enrich cultural diversity through innovative restoration concepts, monument-appropriate maintenance, or cultural offerings. Eligible projects come from the funding areas of building and monument preservation, monument conservation, culture & media, as well as infrastructure & urban development. The foundation places great value on sustainable impact and the involvement of local partners.
