Funding of the HTWK Leipzig Foundation (general foundation support)

The HTWK Leipzig Foundation is committed as a non-profit organization in Saxony to the targeted expansion of teaching and research at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences. The focus is on promoting internationalization, young academics, and practice-oriented continuing education. Academic institutions, departments, and institutes of HTWK Leipzig can continuously submit applications to implement innovative projects in the areas of education & training, research & innovation, as well as international cooperation. Through sponsorship funds, the foundation supports sustainable initiatives that strengthen knowledge transfer and qualify the professionals of tomorrow.

Eligible for funding are educational institutions, public institutions, and non-profit organizations based in Saxony that comply with the statutory objectives. The general foundation funding is explicitly aimed at researchers and project teams of HTWK Leipzig who wish to set new impulses through international networks, junior programs, or continuing education offerings. A continuous increase in the foundation’s capital contributes to securing long-term effective funding measures. With the principle "applications possible at any time," the foundation offers maximum flexibility for project initiatives that keep the academic landscape vibrant and advance forward-looking research and teaching formats.
