Description

The Children and Youth Work Foundation in North Rhine-Westphalia supports committed projects within the Evangelical Church Congregation Hösel and compensates for financial shortfalls caused by declining church tax revenues. Public institutions and non-profit organizations can submit applications continuously, provided that the funds are earmarked specifically for children and youth work and that the activities take place locally. The focus is on vibrant educational and community work: children and young people as well as their volunteers receive support to implement diverse offerings that accompany young people on their journey to adulthood and sustainably convey Christian values. The funding covers thematic areas such as training and further education, commitment to social cohesion and democracy, as well as social projects.

With the sponsorship goal of creating future prospects, the initiative strengthens local youth work and promotes democratic participation. The continuous funding opportunity enables long-term planning and reliable provision of resources. Spectators of leisure activities, workshops, and educational programs benefit just as much as the teams of volunteers who design and carry out projects. Through targeted support, creative program formats remain available independently of economic fluctuations. Interested project leaders from the Evangelical Church Congregation Hösel can submit an application at any time based on the established funding requirements and thus actively contribute to strengthening social cohesion.
