Support for the Schaumburg District Youth Fire Brigade Foundation

The Kreis-Jugendfeuerwehr Schaumburg Foundation is committed to equal opportunities for children and young people of the Kreis-Jugendfeuerwehr Schaumburg e. V. Each year, programs and projects are financed from the proceeds of the foundation’s assets, established in 2007, which enable participation in trips and camps. In particular, participants from low-income families are supported so that neither participation fees nor accommodation costs prevent active involvement in the youth fire brigade context. In this way, the foundation promotes not only firefighting skills and social competencies but also commitment to the common good and service to others in the Lower Saxony region.

Only the Kreis-Jugendfeuerwehr Schaumburg e. V. is eligible for funding and can submit applications for grants as the project sponsor. Funded are participation fees for trips as well as camp costs, with continuous application submissions possible without a fixed deadline. The open application deadline ensures flexible planning of recreational activities and guarantees that even short-term projects can be financially secured. Non-profit organizations within the Kreis-Jugendfeuerwehr implement the projects, while the foundation provides the financial basis to enable young people to participate regardless of their family circumstances.
