Funding of the Lebenshilfe Dillenburg Foundation

Since its establishment in 1997 as an independent foundation under civil law, the Lebenshilfe Dillenburg Foundation has supported a variety of initiatives to promote the participation of people with disabilities in Hesse. Revenues generated through grants, donations, and inheritances flow directly into the services and facilities of the Lebenshilfe Dillenburg e.V. association, thereby strengthening social integration, community cohesion, and democratic engagement. As a continuously funded program, the subsidy is exclusively directed at non-profit organizations affiliated with the association’s purpose and operating in the Dillenburg region.

The focus is on supporting all initiatives aimed at removing barriers and creating inclusive work and leisure opportunities. Projects in the fields of disability assistance, social work, as well as in specially organized workshops, residential offerings, and support centers are funded. A prerequisite for approval is the direct affiliation of the measure with Lebenshilfe Dillenburg e.V. This ensures that all funding reaches precisely where it creates sustainable added value for people with disabilities.
