Funding of the Foundation "Saxony . Land of Engineers"

The "Sachsen . Land der Ingenieure" Foundation supports non-profit organizations and public institutions in Saxony with innovative STEM projects. The goal is to inspire children and young people at primary schools, secondary schools, and grammar schools for science and technology, as well as to promote particularly gifted talents. Projects with an engineering or scientific focus that are not aimed at generating profit are funded. These include, for example, cooperative projects between schools and research institutions, seminars, forums, competitions, and merit scholarships. Evaluations are based on the quality of the educational concept, the degree of innovation, and the contribution to sustainable talent development.

Interested non-profit organizations may submit a project outline on an ongoing basis, which includes a detailed project description, proof of non-profit status, and a financing plan. The funding is aimed at initiatives based or implemented in Saxony and supports STEM-oriented education and training measures at general education schools as well as collaborations in research & innovation. Participants benefit from an unlimited application opportunity and a transparent selection process according to established evaluation criteria. The foundation thus provides a reliable framework to sustainably support young people in their scientific and technical development.
