Funding of the SkF Marburg Foundation

Since 2009, the SkF Marburg Foundation has been committed to providing families in acute financial distress with unbureaucratic support. In particular, households whose children are already over three years old receive assistance when regular aid funds are no longer applicable. The resources come from interest income and endowments, with which the foundation develops needs-based services and flexibly expands existing measures. Through this commitment, a network of expert contacts is created that strengthens families in challenging situations and opens up sustainable perspectives.

Private individuals from Hesse who can demonstrably experience significant financial bottlenecks as a family and care for at least one child over three years old in their household can continuously submit applications for grants. Allocation is based on the criteria of justified need and the transparent use of funding. Institutions and projects that directly support families also have the opportunity to apply for funding for innovative concepts. Thanks to the continuous submission period, there is no rigid deadline, so that assistance reaches exactly where it is urgently needed.
