Description

The Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Consumer Protection of the State of Brandenburg supports participation in national, international, and regional agricultural fairs, exhibitions, as well as sales promotion activities with a grant covering 50% to 90% of eligible expenses. The goal is to assist professional associations, federations, interest groups, and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Brandenburg in strengthening existing markets and opening up new sales opportunities. Eligible costs include participation fees, travel and transport expenses, costs for publications and websites, rental and setup/dismantling costs for booths, as well as symbolic prizes up to €1,000. A valid financing plan, proof of own contribution, declarations regarding de minimis aid, and compliance with state aid regulations are required.

Applications can be submitted continuously until December 31, 2028. Key criteria include the supra-regional character of the project, its contribution to sales promotion, and the economic viability of the applicants. This funding enables regional organizers as well as companies in the agriculture, food industry, and horticulture sectors to enhance their competitiveness on the international stage, organize professional and consumer exhibitions, or implement joint booths. Consistent documentation in the form of project descriptions, cost estimates, and statutory declarations ensures transparent processing and long-term impact. Interested organizations and companies can receive targeted support for their trade fair and marketing activities in Brandenburg under the ongoing funding guideline.
