Description

Since its establishment in 1998, the Udo Jürgens Foundation has been committed nationwide to promoting musical talents as well as supporting needy children and orphans in crisis and developing countries. With a clear focus on music, child and youth welfare, development cooperation, culture & media, agriculture and rural development, as well as labor & social affairs, the foundation aims to specifically support young musicians in training or at the beginning of their careers and to sustainably empower disadvantaged minors through international aid projects. As a grant provider, the Udo Jürgens Foundation facilitates uncomplicated access to financial resources to realize concerts, instrument acquisitions, or stays abroad, as well as accommodation, education, and medical care for children and orphans in distress. The ongoing grant allocation allows applicants to submit their projects at any time and develop them together with experienced experts.

Individuals and non-profit organizations engaged in the aforementioned funding areas can continuously submit funding requests. The foundation values creative approaches and sustainable concepts that achieve long-term impact. Numerous initiatives – including the establishment of an orphanage for visually and mobility-impaired children in Ukraine, educational projects for Tibetan refugee children, and aid measures for HIV-positive children in South Africa – illustrate the extensive commitment of the Udo Jürgens Foundation. Through the awarding of grants, both musical future prospects are opened up and humanitarian emergency aid and development opportunities are promoted. This versatile funding offer is aimed at all those who wish to contribute with passion and commitment to shaping a society based on solidarity.
