Description
The statewide initiative grants craft businesses with training facilities in the state of Bremen, as well as their apprentices registered in the Bremen Chamber of Crafts directory, a non-repayable subsidy to significantly reduce the course fees for inter-company apprentice training. With a funding rate of 100%, only course fees are supported, provided there is no cost-sharing financing through social funds (Soka). The funds benefit small and medium-sized enterprises by alleviating training costs and creating an additional incentive to offer qualified training positions. Applications for the following year must be submitted annually by November 1st via the Bremen Chamber of Crafts as the primary recipient of the funding. Project commencement is possible from January 1st of the following year.
The objective of the funding is to ensure a uniform and high-quality training standard throughout the state in the craft sector. By reducing the costs of inter-company courses, the competitiveness of the businesses is strengthened and the development of skilled workers is sustainably supported. The following documents must be attached to the application: application form, basic level demand report, advanced level demand report, and a proof of use. Early commencement of the measure can be approved upon request if organizational preparations require an earlier implementation. The Senator for Children and Education, as the granting authority, ensures prompt processing. Interested businesses and trainers are encouraged to consider this funding opportunity and submit the required forms within the deadline.
