The Valentin Rathgeber Foundation, based in Bavaria, supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and private individuals dedicated to researching the Baroque composer Johann Valentin Rathgeber (1682–1750) or wishing to enrich the cultural life in Mainfranken. The focus of the funding lies on new editions of his compositions, scholarly articles, concerts, and museum exhibits, such as those for the Rathgeber Room in the Valentin Rathgeber House. Additionally, documentation and publication projects that vividly convey Rathgeber’s life and work may be subsidized.
