Funding of the Wenzel Hablik Foundation (Purpose: Accessibility of works, publications, exhibitions)

The Wenzel-Hablik Foundation in Schleswig-Holstein supports numerous initiatives as a sponsor for the exploration, documentation, and presentation of the artistic estate of Wenzel Hablik. Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, associations, educational institutions, as well as private individuals engaged with Hablik’s work. Funding is particularly provided for projects in the areas of culture, media, fairs & exhibitions, research & innovation, and science. The aim of this ongoing support is to realize publications and organize exhibitions in Itzehoe as well as regionally and internationally, in order to make Hablik’s diverse oeuvre of painting, graphics, furniture designs, and textile design accessible to a broad audience.

The foundation’s focus is on the sustainable preparation of the estate for teaching and research. Initiatives for scholarly evaluation, publication of catalogues, and development of educational formats are welcomed. Applications can be submitted at any time, enabling prompt review and approval. Museums, research institutions, art educators, and cultural organizations are invited to submit their exhibition projects and publication concepts to jointly increase the visibility of this significant artist with the Wenzel-Hablik Foundation and to bring his visionary complete works closer to the public.
