Since 2007, the Werner Vyghen Foundation has been committed nationwide to supporting needy and disadvantaged children and young people both domestically and abroad. As a non-profit organization, it continuously distributes grants to organizations, companies, private individuals, and foundations whose project proposals align with the foundation’s purpose. Supported are measures for upbringing, education, and vocational training, the establishment and maintenance of children’s homes and day care centers, as well as health care and medical assistance in children’s villages. Special attention is given to the sustainable effectiveness and cost-efficiency of the projects, as well as their feasibility and long-term benefits for the target group. Individual investments that exceed the available donation potential are realized in partnership with additional donors.
