Description
The funding of civil protection measures of the Red Cross in Burgenland enables non-profit organizations to specifically strengthen all disaster protection and social services. Since 01.01.2014, a continuous subsidy volume has been available, which can be applied for until fully utilized. The Austrian Red Cross in Burgenland can use this support to comprehensively equip its departments and response teams for preventive measures, operational coordination, and care services within the framework of civil protection.
The Burgenland state government provides the funds as a direct grant to procure equipment, finance courses and exercises, as well as secure logistics and infrastructure. Interested units submit a formal funding application for this purpose; no further documents are required. This funding offer is exclusively aimed at the Austrian Red Cross in Burgenland and significantly contributes to increasing the effectiveness of experts and volunteers. Through sustainable financing, regional resilience, operational readiness, and social security are strengthened in the long term.
