The German-Chinese Technology Exchange (DCTA) Foundation offers continuous nationwide grant funding to intensify scientific and technological exchange between Germany and China. Eligible for funding are public institutions as well as companies engaged in the priority areas of science, research & innovation, education, health, social cohesion & democracy, and vocational training & further education. Applications can be submitted at any time and open up diverse opportunities for professional development, thematic trips, events, and expert discussions.
With the aim of sustainably strengthening understanding and cooperation between the two countries, the funding is specifically targeted at government representatives, employees of authorities and institutions, company representatives, as well as professionals from Germany and China. Through financial grants, the foundation supports projects in the fields of education and upbringing, public health, and international understanding. Participants benefit from a well-connected network of over 1,200 Chinese and approximately 50 German hospitals in the medical sector, as well as a broad circle of partners in science and research.
