Promotion of the Apprenticeship Exchange Program

This funding enables the non-profit association "Lehrlingsförderung" to plan and implement international exchange projects for apprentices from Burgenland. Within the framework of this program, the association cooperates with foreign partner schools so that participants can learn about modern skills and innovative techniques in their vocational training. The goal is to apply the acquired experiences in local companies, thereby strengthening competitiveness and professional expertise in the region. The grant is exclusively available to non-profit associations based in Burgenland, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis.

Eligible are apprentices enrolled at a vocational school in Burgenland. A prerequisite for positive approval is a properly formatted funding application from the association "Lehrlingsförderung" including an overview of all participants. The unlimited submission deadline (valid since 01.01.2014) offers flexibility in project planning and promotes sustainable partnership development. The direct grant covers logistical and organizational expenses, allowing the association to fully focus on the professional and intercultural support of the young skilled workers. This initiative makes an important contribution to professional development and the long-term retention of qualified skilled workers in Burgenland.
