Description
The State of Burgenland supports the Austrian Civil Protection Association, Burgenland Regional Association, with continuously available grant funding. The objective of this measure is to comprehensively inform the population about the tasks, goals, and self-help measures of the Civil Protection Association. With regard to the thematic areas of disaster protection as well as labor & social affairs, the funding contributes to raising awareness of preventive security structures and establishing an effective network for disaster situations. The funding is exclusively aimed at non-profit organizations and encompasses a budgeted volume of 0.011 million euros, which is made available in the form of direct grants.
Interested parties may submit a funding application continuously as long as the allocated volume has not been exhausted. A prerequisite for the grant is the submission of a complete application including all required documents. The funding period began on 01.01.2014 and extends until the funds are fully utilized. Through the regular awarding of grants, the Civil Protection Association is enabled to implement informative campaigns, training sessions, and self-help initiatives. Thus, the program makes a sustainable contribution to strengthening civil security structures in Burgenland and supports experts, volunteers, and citizens alike in preparing for emergency situations.
