Funding objective
Support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vienna in modernizing workflows and value creation processes through the development and implementation of new digital solutions.

Description
The Vienna Business Agency supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from all sectors with headquarters and at least one year of business activity in Vienna in the development and implementation of digital solutions. With a project volume starting at €10,000 and a maximum funding amount of €50,000, up to 50% of the eligible costs are covered as a non-repayable grant. The goal is the modernization of workflows and value creation processes through tailored digitization strategies. The project duration is up to 24 months, with submissions accepted quarterly by March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31, until December 31, 2026. An advance payment of up to 50% of the approved amount can be requested to secure liquidity.
Eligible expenses include, among others, costs for external consulting and training, the implementation of new software including licenses, as well as necessary hardware and devices. Individual measures such as pure website creation, internal personnel costs, or standard software and hardware are not recognized. Evaluation is conducted by an independent jury based on the comprehensibility of the digitization plan, degree of innovation, and economic viability of the project. Applications must include a fully completed application form, a de minimis declaration, the latest annual financial statement or income-expenditure statement, and cost estimates for items exceeding €10,000 net.
